The elevator doors looked like dogs licked them all over and no one chose to clean them for a year.
This hotel kept with a minimalist approach, but never seemed spartan or lacking. If you don't need all the bells and whistles, this can be a good fit.
Nice Clean New Motel. Great Staff. Great Service. Hotel easy access to restaurants and main travel routes.
If you are looking to stay in a luxury hotel with budget prices you have found your place. There rooms are always quaint. Unlike many hotels the environment is always quiet, warm and welcoming. Housekeeping staff does an excellent job taking care of your room during any extended stay. They have a business office and gym so you can keep your health game on track while staying. Continental breakfast is offered free at each location.
The bad was clean enough.
It smelled pretty clean. People facing the back had a nice country view. Had I gotten one of those rooms, I would maybe enjoy it more. But there were cockroaches. Killed one right on a window, too. If we hadn’t been so tired, we would have went to a different hotel. But in the morning we did check out and went to another hotel for the few nights stay. Breakfast was not all that great. I feel like they used the cheapest brands possible in most of the food. (For instance some weird not so good tasting cream cheese instead of splurging a bit on a Philadelphia). But there is a bit of a choice. The waffle mix was running almost empty (or too thick?) even though we were up first thing in the morning.
Sometimes you just need a clean and comfy place to sleep, and this hotel provided that perfectly. I stayed in a single room, which was compact, but didn't feel cramped. There was a windowsill nook, which was a really cozy and nice touch. Everything was clean and functional in the room, and all of the rooms faced indoors, which I tend to personally like as opposed to the outdoor hallway setup.
First thing I noticed when I was taking a shower was the roach in the shower with me. That wasn't the topper it was the room next door who was partying loudly and then we woke up about 2 in the morning because the entire room was filled with the smell of marijuana. It was so bad it woke my wife. Complained to the staff the next day. Besides the roach the hotel was clean. However I believe the management staff can be more strategic when putting together rooms that join that have kids. For example the guy next door with blingy madly on the wall because I was trying to change a diaper of our 18 month old. We have kids kids will cry they will be a little noisy. But they weren't overly noisy. Staff could also do a better job of managing its guests I know and some hotels that are bigger this might be an issue but a small hotel like this they should not have a problem monitoring to make sure that people aren't partying in the hallways at 2 in the morning.
Breakfast wasn't anything too special, and had no protein options (only a waffle maker, cereal, pastries, and bagels). Still, being able to grab something quick in the morning without having to leave the hotel is always convenient.
